VeRoLiberator Facts & Figures

Key Facts & Figures at a glance

The VeRoLiberator® is a vertical impact crusher with very low energy consumption, near complete particle liberation, high reduction ratios, and operates dry.

Technological principles of the VeRoLiberator®

  • Vertical quadruple axle-in-axle system
  • Gravitational free-fall of material through the comminution cylinder
  • No energy used for lifting of material, tools or casing
  • Several tools on three levels rotate clockwise and counterclockwise
  • Turbulent particle flow through machine
  • Multiple high velocity impacts crush ores, rocks, and slags
  • Rotational speeds can be adjusted to the individual input material
  • Modular set-up, for easy maintenance

Key parameters

  • Throughput of approximately 100 to 130 t per hour
  • Low energy consumption of 3 to 7 kWh/t output
  • Particle size reduction ratio of up to 6.250 from continuous single-pass comminution
  • Very high degree of particle liberation

Good to know

  • 100% dry operating system, no process water needed
  • No grinding media
  • Very low noise level (85 dBA under full load)
  • Very low dust level (encapsulated wind-draft filter system)
  • Adjustable product particle size from coarse to fine
  • Easy and fast maintenance, short down time for service
  • Flexible design and layout
  • Adjustable operating parameters, e.g. speed, number, shape or alloy of tools
  • Possibility of down- and upscaling
  • Modular set up for easy transportation and installation
  • Mobility to operate within open pit mines (for in-pit crushing and conveying, IPCC)
  • Low safety risk - no external moving parts
